Our History

YAP WEAR® Dogcoats was launched in 1999, as I was unable to find Australian made Dog coats for my mini Schnauzers Lili & Milo ...so YW® Dogcoats was born.

Earlier I was inspired on a fashion buying trip to Milan, where the sight of a stylish Italian took my breath away... It wasn't a human. It was a Dog, wearing a fabulous Dog coat!

YW ® 'Created the Category' for Quality Street-inspired Dog coats of bright colours, interesting fabrics, hip reflective trims and Quality making. Proudly all our Dogcoats are made in Australia
with as much Australian content as possible, so we are caring for the environment and our Carbon footprint.

In 2006 we were the 1st Dog coat to ever be stocked in Sportsgirl stores Australia. Also proudly we export our Australian Dog coats to the World incl. Japan.
